Back Pain Freedom Program
End Chronic Back Pain in 8 WeeksProgram Overview
The Back Pain Freedom Program is an 8-week, structured rehabilitation pathway for patients suffering from chronic lower back pain, sciatica, disc herniation, and related spinal conditions. Chronic back pain is one of the leading causes of disability worldwide, yet research consistently demonstrates that active physiotherapy — not rest, surgery, or prolonged medication — produces the best long-term outcomes. Our program is grounded in the biopsychosocial model of pain management, addressing not just the physical biomechanical factors but also the movement habits, postural patterns, and pain-related fear-avoidance behaviors that perpetuate chronic back pain. The McKenzie Method, Pilates-based core stabilization, manual therapy, and progressive loading are combined into a personalized plan based on your directional preference and pain pattern. Patients typically experience significant pain reduction within 2–3 weeks and functional improvement by Week 4. The program's final phase focuses heavily on return to full work, sport, and daily activity. An individualized home exercise program ensures sustained results well beyond the 8-week course. Our physiotherapists are Credentialed McKenzie Practitioners with advanced training in spinal conditions, offering an evidence-based experience unmatched in Vellore.
